NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

New Moons always mark the moment when the impulse changes from waning to waxing.

The next New Moon is on Thursday 12 November 2015, 19 degrees in Scorpio at 4:47 am.

The Best Time to set intentions and goals or simply daydream creatively

At New Moon in Scorpio, we are feeling our own and others emotional pain. Digging deeper and analysing grief raises our emotional pain level, however, taking time to reflect helps us grow and resolve some of these deep seated issues.

This New Moon conjuncts Mercury, trines Chiron and sextiles Jupiter and gives us an opportunity to deeply investigate. We can tap into universal wisdom and create a field of empathy and healing conversations.

Scorpio is ruled by Mars and Pluto and associated with sexual matters, passion, jealousy, transformation and resurrection. If you know the house in your natal chart this New Moon occupies, you can explore this area in your life to identify an issue or habit where you want to initiate positive changes.

Ideally take some quiet time at Wednesday evening or  Thursday morning and make a bit of a ritual where you brainstorm, write and reflect. To find new and more constructive ways for your future, keep asking yourself relevant question over and over again. Brainstorm, take notes and you will come up with a strategy forward.

 For example:
  • How can I trust into my higher consciousness?
  • How can I release anger and emotional trauma
  • How can I transform my sexlife into a spiritual communion?

Set intentions and goals

For example:

  • My goal is to not react instantly but reflect first. My plan/intention is to practise meditation or Chi gong breathing.

Or? Simply daydream creatively and positively…

This Quote I found on Mystic Medusa’s website recently:
WHAT WOULD SUN TZU DO?
THERE ARE ROADS WHICH MUST NOT BE FOLLOWED, TOWNS WHICH MUST NOT BE BESIEGED, POSITIONS WHICH MUST NOT BE CONTESTED, COMMANDS OF THE SOVEREIGN WHICH MUST NOT BE OBEYED.
1 NEW MOON PIC and TEXT
My aim is to inspire people to live a healthier more sustainable lifestyle. My background as a nurse and Steiner teacher combined with my love of complementary medicine and Astrology led me to create the Moontime Diary. By becoming aware of the Moon, seasons and cycles, we can make the most of celestial influences and reduce our environmental foot print.
