Lunar Cycle

Being aware of the lunar phases allows you to consciously start a cycle with a particular idea or project in mind. Find something that  relates to the zodiac sign the New Moon is falling in, something which wants to be done or resolved or created.

There ( usually) is one New Moon in each of the 12 signs of the zodiac which corresponds to a particular area of your life. You can find a neat description of the 12 Moon Signs in the Moontime Diary.

HereI am presenting the eight lunar phases according to Dane Rudyar’s theory. He points out that we should not consider the aspect only, but differentiate between a waxing and waningaspect. And surely, there is a marked difference between a waxing and a waning square or trine.

Gaining insight into cycles is an ideal way to nurture your projects and live up to life’s challenges throughout the ongoing cycles.

To find out any lunar phase and position in the current year, refer to the Moontime Diary or the Moontime Calendar. An Astrological Lunar Diary especially for Australia, a great gift.
